Membership Information
Employees from the cities of Goodyear and Avondale initially established the Agua Fria Toastmasters Club. We are now open to the public in the Southwest Valley. People from all walks of life around the world have joined local Toastmasters clubs in order to:

· Improve presentation skills
· Increase leadership potential

Toastmasters International is the Leading
movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide
reality. Through its member Clubs, Toastmasters International helps men
and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking - vital
skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential,
foster human understanding, and , and contribute to the betterment of
mankind."
The club will hold weekly weekly meetings every Thursday from 11:30 to 12:30 at City Hall Room 230.
New members must pay a $20.00 one-time fee which covers the cost of
educational materials, and Charter Member certificate. There is also a
$27.00 semi-annual charge that covers dues for six months in advance,
commences the month in which the charter is issued. This fee also
covers the subscription to the monthly Toastmasters magazine.

Anyone interested is encouraged to attend meetings as a
guest - to see how it works, and decide whether Toastmasters is right
for you. Just come to any meeting.
